The Scoglio di Peppino is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rei, if not THE BEACH OF COSTA REI par excellence, as it starts from this location the long beach of Costa Rei, which stretches for 8 km between stretches of white sand, dunes, and Mediterranean vegetation. The Scoglio di Peppino is located on Punta Santa Giusta and divides the beach of Costa Rei from the beach of Punta Santa Giusta.
It should be remembered that Scoglio Peppino is part of the municipality of Muravera, and before it there is the municipality of Castiadas.
The name Peppino given to the rock seems to have belonged to a local fisherman who used to fish in this bay. it remains without doubt the symbol of Costa Rei, with its whale shape and its granite composition, the water is transparent and very shallow, it is possible to walk in a few centimetres of water until you reach it and climb on it where you can admire the wonderful beach of Costa Rei.
